First off, Japan seems to become a real Flash Lite market. The Flash Lite technology allows quick development of simple mobile games that function in the browser of a mobile phone. This way, the content developers manage to avoid porting constraints known technologies like J2me. Also, the distribution of Flash Lite games is much more easy, so you don't need advanced platforms like the operators have put in place. Most of the Flash Lite game development is paid by inserting advertisements or charging monthly fees to consumers.
