All Work and No Play Doesn't Pay!

UniversiteitutrechtResearchers at the Dutch University of Utrecht have announced that playing games makes employees more happy and productive.

Students from the University have been tracking the results of 60 employees in an insurance company. Half of the group was allowed to play simple (mobile) games for up to an hour a day, while the other group was told to stay away from the games.

The results where not really shocking. When asked if they enjoy their work, the gaming employees where pretty satisfied. What was surprising however was the increase in productivity. For more details on the study, visit the story on BBC News.
