EA: Mobile Outsells Playstation 3
UK website Pocket Gamer went deep into EA's latest financial figures and found out some interesting details. The most interesting off all, would be the fact that Mobile outperforms Playstation 3 revenues.
The turnover on Playstation 3 games was set on $ 17 millioin while mobile did $ 37 million. Obviously the development costs per title for mobile are far less then Playstation 3 games would be as PocketGamer concludes. Even when you keep in mind that EA Mobile has outputted many more titles then EA did for the Playstation 3, and the fact that porting and distribution costs remain for the mobile games, Mobile Gaming should still be the big winner over Playstation 3.
