Artificial Life Announces Android Support

ArtificiallifeArtificial Life announces to start supporting Google's new free and open source mobile Linux based platform Android. Artificial Life expects Android to reach a leading position in China due to the low costs.

Artificial Life expects that the platform will open up a lot of new innovative possibilities due to the available API's that connect to several internet services. Artificial Life already started to integrate Android into it's porting platform.

"The emergence of mobile devices with a more open architecture and robust feature set makes our lives easier by giving us the freedom to create games with fewer limitations imposed by the specific devices while, at the same time, reducing production overhead. We will, therefore, support the Google open source initiative by providing new and innovative products," said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
