Flash Lite 3 Hits Mobile
Adobe has announced the release of the third generation of it's Flash Lite development language for mobile entertainment and of course mobile games.
The third edition of Flash Lite should be a lot more like it's desktop brother that's around for ages already. Both Nokia and NTT DoCoMo have announced to support Flash Lite 3 in their newest mobile pones. Currently, there are 300 million mobile phones that suport Flash Lite 1.1 or Flash Lite 2.0. In 2010 Adobe expects to have 1 billion Flash Lite supporting phones in the market.

Is Flash Lite 3 available in open maket. I recently entered in mobile gaming field. Actually I m a falsh developer and what I think that Flash Lite will cover maximum market of mobile gaming soo. The games developed by using Flash Lite is very lite. That's why I think it'll take over the market soon. And I also want to know more about 1 billion phones...
Where did the information about 300 million mobile phones come from Adobe, and how can they monitor so well? I believe their primary base is Japan, where the most mobile phones are Flash Lite enabled (maybe around 200 million). Which means of the other multiple billion mobile phones available in the world, only 100 million currently have it. I still consider this quite a niche. I am a FlashLite sceptic :-)
I believe time WILL come for FlashLite, but it will not be in the next 2 - 3 years, maybe later, but not before it starts working properly and the memory of the phone is capable of for example viewing it on mobile sites as banners...
