More on EA’s Fishlabs Acquisition Gossip
A day after posting the rumours surrounding the possible acquisition of Fishlabs by EA Mobile, we spoke to Michael Shade, CEO of Fishlabs about how true this story could be.
And true it could be, but certainly not at this time and perhaps not even with EA. Michael told us they do develop games for EA Mobile, but there have been no talks with EA about acquisitions or purchases of shares by EA. If there are companies interested in acquiring Fishlabs, there always is room to talk though.
So is this denial of something about to happen for the sake of the deal, or a confirmation that this thing will indeed not happen? It is clear this will remain a question that cannot be answered by anyone at this moment and as so we take Michael’s statement as the most reliable information we currently have available which means business as usual.
