Impossible Starts Public Beta Testing
All developers, in mobile and bigger, know bug testing is vital to deliver a great product. Since years, I personally assist for example in testing PSP, PS2 and PS3 software. Now, Impossible follow’s Sony’s movement with public beta testing of mobile games.
The first series of tests from Impossible will be on the game Reiner Knizia, a big mobile multiplayer project from the developer. With the public beta, Impossible hopes to tackle any problems with the various networks. Players can download the beta versions here.
„It has been announced before that we were working on bringing the Knizia Games masterpieces to mobile but up to now we have kept quiet about the strongest feature of these board game conversions. And that is the mobile internet multiplayer feature.“ Says impossible COO, Miklos Csemy.
„It goes without doubt that these games were designed to be played against human opponents and although we have managed to come up with a very strong AI, the game just wouldn´t feel right without the ability to challenge your friends!“
„We believe that the mobile version of the game will appeal to everyone out there. Long time fans of Dr. Knizia can now carry their favourite title around in their pockets and play it literally wherever and whenever they want to. And the game has also lots to offer to both casual and hardcore mobile gamers as it is easy to get and fun to play. Also, it is important to note that the game was designed by someone who, with a history of 300+ games, knows a thing or two about game design. The game is perfectly balanced and keeps the players thrilled up to the very last moment. This has been known to be the trademark feature of Dr. Knizia´s titles.“
